You will always have a special place in my heart. When I am with you, there is no place I’d rather be. You love me in ways I have never experienced before. When you treat your partner in a way they have never felt before, they become more affectionate towards you. It makes them open up completely to you. They trust that you will always be there for them when they need you the most. No one appreciates a partner who is insensitive to their feelings and emotions. 1) Communication: Communication is the key to an effective relationship with your partner. Good communication helps you get to understand your partner better. It helps you understand when to stand by them when they need you most; when to be emotionally available when they need a shoulder to lean on. When there is no effective ground for communication in the relationship, one or both partners could easily fall out of love. They find it difficult to open up about the things they would like to talk to you about. This makes them start keeping secrets. Improve your communication with your partner to keep them in love.
2) Trust: Trust is vital for a healthy relationship with your partner. When you trust your partner without a doubt, it makes them see you as a trustworthy confidant. They don’t get scared or disappointed when they entrust their secrets with you because they know you won’t disappoint them. They see you as someone that can be always be relied on. This makes them open up to things they haven’t told you before. Without trust in a relationship it is difficult to truly love your partner. You find it impossible to believe anything they say. It is toxic to be in a relationship with someone you don’t trust. It leaves you feeling insecure about your partner. Always trusting your partner keeps them in love.
3) Consistency: Consistency is everything. When you are always there for your partner when they need you, they will have every reason to stay with you. They trust that you won’t one day disappear when they need you the most. Consistency fortifies your relationship with your partner. It helps the both of you stand the test of time. Every relationship has its ups and downs. There are times when you just love being in love with your partner and other times when you feel as though they irritate you. When you are always there for your partner during both rosy and sour times, it makes them trust you with all their heart. No one appreciates an inconsistent partner. If you want to keep your partner in love, be consistent.
4) Contentment: Contentment should be what you desire with your partner after being so high in love. There should be times when the both of you feel totally satisfied with each other; no fancy hotels and candlelight just the both of you satisfied with all that remains. Contentment brings peace in the relationship. At some point you care less whether they give you the world or just a simple gift, because what’s most important to you is that you have them in your life. When you are content with all that your partner has to offer, it keeps them in love. Always be content with your partner.
5) Compromise: No relationship is entirely perfect. We all have flaws and imperfections. This seeming imperfections are what makes us unique. When you get a grip on this, you will be willing to compromise with your partner when they make a mistake or do something you don’t like. Your willingness to compromise with your partner shows how much they mean to you. It shows that you would rather still have them in your life than lose them as a result of your inability to compromise. When you compromise with your partner especially after a fight or argument, it strengthens the bond you have for them. You get to love and understand them in ways you never did before. Always be willing to compromise with your partner, it keeps them in love.
